Harold Rosen


Harold is a community interfaith educator in the Vancouver, Canada area with master’s degrees in education, religion and philosophy (www.interfaitheducation.org) Harold designsand teaches courses on World Religions, Comparative Philosophy and the History of Ideas.

He served as a Unitarian Universalist minister for 25 years, engaging in many projects of interfaith cooperation and service. Since the year 2000, he has served the Baha’i community,  teaching courses on world religions for community and university audiences,while assisting with interfaith and multicultural projects. 

He is a co-founder of A.I.M. – the Abbotsford Interfaith Movement. 

His goals are to facilitate deeper respect, broader understanding, and effective cooperation –providing hope for humanity’s moral-spiritual progress. His book, “Founders of Faith: The Parallel Lives of God’s Messengers” –
on Moses, Zoroaster, Krishna, Buddha, Jesus, Muhammad and Bahá’u’lláh – emerged from his courses. 

A sequel to this book is being prepared, addressing world history and the role of religion,with the theme “Eye to the Ages: The Rise, Fall and Progressive Renewal of Civilization.”He lives with his wife Wendy (also an active Baha’i), enjoying frequent visits with their two children and two grandchildren.
