She holds an Honors Specialization in Media and the Public Interest from the University of Western Ontario, as well as a Masters in Journalism from the University of British Columbia.
Emily’s past work includes radio production at CBC Toronto, co-producing an Al Jazeera documentary on mental health initiatives in India, and managing communications at UBC’s Green College.
Now at the David Suzuki Foundation, Emily coordinates media relations and communications strategies for the Science & Policy team – from groundbreaking methane research to profiling renewable energy projects.
